The workshop was held in Arusha from 5th to 25th January 2026.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop focused on processing and analysing data from the National School Malaria Parasitological Survey (SMPS) conducted in November 2025.<\/p>\n<p>During the workshop, the UDSM DHIS2 Lab team played a key technical role by making survey data from multiple digital tools available for analysis and reporting. This included preparation of school-level, student-level, household-level, and nutrition-related datasets to support evidence generation for national malaria planning.<\/p>\n<p>The outputs generated during the workshop are critical for:<\/p>\n<p>1. Completion of the Malaria Strategic Plan (MSP) 2021\u20132025 End-Term Evaluation;<\/p>\n<p>2. Development of the Malaria Strategic Plan 2026\u20132030; and<\/p>\n<p>3. Supporting the Global Fund malaria funding application.<\/p>\n<p>\u2728 Participation in this exercise underscores the lab\u2019s continued contribution to national digital health systems, data management, and analytics, particularly in supporting evidence-based decision-making for disease control and public health planning.
