This collaborative project aimed to enhance the app’s usability on tablet devices for a point of care clinical decision support tool in DHIS2 Tracker, that required a better use of the wider tablet screen. The DHIS2 capture app was customized to provide a 3-panel layout in landscape mode, which made it possible for health workers to see simultaneously full details of the client, the data entry screen, and the feedback widget where they were provided with clinical guidance based on the WHO Digital Adaptation Kit (DAK) for Antenatal Care (ANC). This adaptation was designed to support a transition from paper registers to an interactive eRegistry for ANC for midwives in Uganda.
