Join us in congratulating Dr. Henrick Mwasita!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate our colleague, Henrick Mwasita, who has successfully defended his PhD in Computer Science. His dedication and hard work have culminated in this remarkable achievement.
His study aimed to improve collaborative online learning by making it more focused, inclusive, and effective. His research involved creating a peer recommender system specifically to assist struggling students.
This system uses a unique peer-assisted learning partner matching model, which considers factors like performance, location, learning style, personality, and communication preferences to suggest compatible learning partners. Ultimately, his work provides both new ideas and a working model for intelligently connecting students to enhance their collaborative learning outcomes.
Dr. Henrick Mwasita’s expertise and commitment are invaluable to our team.
He has been a senior implementer in digital solutions, the area in which UDSM DHIS2 Lab has contributed extensively to improving organizational business processes.
His expertise in Machine Learning adds value to our team in solving institutional contextual challenges using state of the art digital solutions
We’re excited to see all that we can accomplish together!
