Mwita Sogorya is a prominent researcher and the lead of the disease surveillance system at the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM) DHIS2 Lab.
He holds an MSc in Computer Science from the Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT) in Beijing, China, where he has also made significant contributions to academic research and practical applications in Public health.
His leadership at the DHIS2 Lab involves coordinating with various stakeholders, including the Ministry of health, international health organizations, and local communities, to develop robust and scalable solutions for disease monitoring and outbreak response.
